Denise has worked in the medical field and fitness industry for over 30 years. She has advanced specializations in sports Physical therapy, manual therapy, exercise prescription and women’s/men’s health. As well she has formal training in areas of wellness, acupuncture, IMS, advanced massage and yoga. She is the founder and partner of Sunshine Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation as well as Community Yoga Cochrane where she practices as a clinical physical therapist and Physio yoga teacher.
As an International Sports Physical Therapist she has provided medical services to athletes of all levels, including numerous Canadian teams and professional athletes.
Denise has been teaching yoga since 2010 and practicing since 2004. Her yoga influences are mainly from the schools of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyinger, White Tantra, Jivamukti, Yoga Therapy, Anatomy fascial trains, Energy Medicine Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. She has completed numerous yoga teacher training courses and workshops since 2004. She feels very blessed for the many fantastic teachers and scholars who have taught her.
